My dashboard, my twitter feed and my facbook timeline are entirely covered by robin williams
Look at how many lives he has touched

morningsuns:

it’s honestly so ….. weird when celebrities die. because we look at them as being invincible and we just expect them to always be there. but they’re real people too and i think we all forget that. he was suffering with depression and yet made all of us laugh…. it’s just crazy how much we don’t know about celebrities.

kamelworld:

when a singer actually has an accent in a song you have to sing with that accent it’s just a rule ok

queerpotters:

does anyone else feel like they just lost their favourite uncle

“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”

How do you cope when someone you’ve never met but immortalized passes? How do you thank someone for shaping your childhood when they leave this Earth before you had the chance to say something?

Thank you so much, Robin Williams. For everything. And may you find the peace and happiness wherever you are.

Thank you Robin Williams for being the best nanny, the best genie, the best Peter Pan, the best teacher who made us want to read poetry, radio announcer, LGBTQ character, the best board game player and the best comedian. You made us laugh. You made us cry. You inspired. Thank you.

I think the fact that nearly every single post on my dash is about Robin Williams is a testament to how great of an actor he was and shows just how many people he inspired/how many people loved him and his work.

benwinstagram:

robin williams was like that uncle you didn’t see often but when you did he’d always make you smile and you remembered nothing but good things… i didn’t expect to feel this one so much

Reblogging this in honor of Robin Williams. Please, if you are battling depression or suicidal thoughts, I desperately urge you to talk to someone. I will listen, and so will the people at this number.

miladyswan:

I am honestly in shock. He was one of those actors who shaped my view on cinema and comedy. From Jack to Jumanji, Aladdin to Ferngully, Mrs. Doubtfire to Dead Poets Society. Robin Williams was always present during my childhood and it shocks me to no end how he is gone so quickly and so soon. He was truly one of the most talented and funny actors of his time. Rest in peace, sir. Thank you for giving everyone a friend like you.
